Right now they benefit from the unresolved legal status of Cyprus because it allows them to negotiate or push for greater claim in the mediterranean water ways, but in the end they would love it if Cyprus joined Greece. The biggest obstacle here would be the grecocypriot elites who would like to keep their share of business (banking/laundering, paper falsification industry, tourism,oil routes etc.) in their own hands.
