Not completely absent of Romanian culture. More so a blend of both American and Romanian culture. I grew up eating Romanian and American food, attended a Romanian-speaking church, and most of the people I associated with outside of school were Romanian diaspora. It was kind of a unique experience though because my parents were very involved in the Romanian community here.
