Easy answer: settler colonialism in Guyana

Hard answer: uhhhhhhh ummmmm I have 75 seconds to type this before I can post which is about my attention span right now. I would say diversification from oil is the one easy answer, but I think the harder one would be find out how to move up in the supply chain from the natural resource you're starting from. For oil, that might involve finished petroleum products, petroleum trading, maybe financing exploration in other countries? No idea man and now I can post

>How would you fix my country in your country?

Shit, okay, uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:

-Try to export as many people as possible as either foreign workers in richer 1st world nations or just to neighboring 2nd world countries, so they can either send money home or at the very least no longer be a problem.
-Try to form some kind of trade agreement with several industrious countries in exchange for getting your oil infrastructure back up and running. There's dozens of countries that aren't America, or America adjacent: see if China or India will help, Cuba always has too many doctors - maybe they'd like some oil.
-Focus on rebuilding infrastructure, police, social programs, and respecting private businesses in the immediate capital. Once you can do that 100% of the time, every time, slowly expand outward. Consider coinciding this with some kind of homesteading act: hand out plots of land, maintain the roads, police them, and loan people small amounts of seed money, try to get the flow of cash and goods up and running.
-Standardize and streamline methods for approving businesses, buildings, etc.. So you can get them out and moving as fast as possible. What you want is "cheap and safe".
-Perform aggressive reeducation and retraining efforts: trades, academia, medicine, engineering, and the sciences. Make it as inexpensive as possibly - steal/pirate books if you have to. Worst case scenario; you've made your people more "appealing" as migrants, best case scenario you now have a bunch of pop-up industries forming.
-Don't get too attached to foreign aid, or the American Dollar - there's an entire industry of Western Types who's sole business is making money off of keeping entire nations in poverty.

>How would you fix my country in your country?

Around 25%, UN numbers are around 7.7 millions but heere we usually count since 2010 or 2013 and it would be 9.1 millions
>will the people come back if the country gets better?
A lot of people cameback when the situation got sligthily better 2 years ago rn is getting worse again so they are moving out. It really depends on how long they are in another country it's not the same building your life for 10 years in another place and coming back as someone who only has 3 or 4 years barely making a living

That's the problem with venezuelans.

You always want everything to be easy, or given.

Every other country in Latin America fought back despite not having weapons, you can even look for Montoneros manual to create homemade explosives, weapons and cuban guerrilla tactics (here I found it for you)

https://eltopoblindado.com/opm-peronistas/montoneros/manual-de-instruccion-parte-1/

During Operación Libertad, you couldn't even gather 500 people to fight in a proper warzone as Guaidó meant, you're all a bunch of pussies.

You are actually rigth about that, everytime a military unit rebels the population does nothing, in 2020 the entire Tachira state was in open rebellion and the goverment cut them out and the rest of the country did nothing.
I'm actually quite blackpilled about it, and maybe the last chance was inmediatly after the elections when people went to get shot at and arrested near the presidential palace, but the political leaders in the oposittion want to mantain an appearence of democratic values and ruled of law and refrained of mentioning anything that wasnt peace full 1 hour concentrations

That's the easy bit. The real question is how are you going to deal with the corrupt local elites that thrive in their current situation i.e. exploiting the poors
They're usually a lot more entrenched and able to take you out than "the westerners that will keep your country in poverty"
