As a terminally online guy that's been terminally online for 15 years, I remember there being some reformist muslims that came from northern england, that talked about their experience overcoming racism and then being critical of islamic extremism. These people made a big deal of the police brutality they faced and discrimination.

Yet we know now that these same cops were the ones covering up the muslim rape gangs and were running cover for the rapists.

I think one of these guys is still a mainstream political commentator that works for anti-extremism think tanks. How did he and the others not know about the rape gangs when it was like 4% of their community involved in the raping? Or were they just fucking lying too.

Labour have no idea what they're doing with the economy and are scared of Reform so are trying to appease people by trying to take a tough stance on things like ordering an inquiry into paki rape gangs. They've done fuck all to change immigration though as the boats are getting even worse, they scrapped the Rwanda scheme (even though there were signs it was having an effect) but had nothing to replace it with. The cost of living is ridiculous, everything has gone up so much and salaries haven't followed. Overall it's not in a great place but it has got to the point where people are sick of it and are openly sick of immigration rather than being scared to voice concerns.
