I am tall, fit and attractive so get approached quite a lot when I'm out with friends yet always turn women down despite all the encouragement from friends and good social skills/general confidence.

I'm sure my friends think I'm gay. In reality is I was just so buck broken through child abuse I can't handle being hugged yet alone sex without freaking the fuck out.

I recall social services involvement and alcohol issues when I was younger, not enough food/heating, I never noticed or cared but brother said dirty clothes.

When I was about 13 I used to carry a knife in the house cause was terrified of mother. Lots of shouting and absolutely pointless arguments as well. I was also underweight enough for constant comments.

Some people obviously had it worse but it was 1,000x more challenging than anything I've ever faced as an adult.
