>>211931978 (OP)You also have to take into account there are probably 120 million people here of a third world race. Some of them here since the founding of the nation and still too retarded to speak proper English. Some of them just hopped a border 30 years ago and still cannot speak English at all.
So if you took an average European person and raised them here you would be much better off than those metrics suggest. I am two years into my first job out of college, after required payments like taxes, rent, utilities, food, and putting $25k into a few different retirement accounts, I have $50k per year I can spend on whatever I want. I am in a medium cost of living area in the Midwest too so houses are $180k-300k for a normal one
>>211932521This is true, so many consumerist people that will be living “paycheck to paycheck” making $100k+ per year because they HAVE to get every Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc subscription. They HAVE to get ubereats every other day. They HAVE to get a new car because their old one is 5 years old. They HAVE to take a few vacations or cruises abroad every year, etc. If people didn’t try to live above their means so much here then the problems would be fixed overnight
