What cultural group are they? Why do they exist as a country? Are they really the last Romans?

>What cultural group are they?

European.

>Why do they exist as a country?

Because.

>Are they really the last Romans?

Why do you think subsequent Roman generals and emperors always wanted to re-invade after Aurelian retreated or maintain an official administrative outpost far, all the way through, if the official storyline was that it was „re-occupied”? Why would they fight an uphill fight if „nobody” was there behind or automatically considered „lost”?
Who & how do you think they knew who and which invaders were moving to invade Roman/Byzantine territory?
Why do you think barbarian invaders always – always conspicuously – failed their element of surprise & shock objectives, going through here OR passing through here southward/westward?
Why, even with walls, the Byzantines and Venetians never had to worry about this area being „invisible” or „unattended”?
Who do you think stole their horse saddles constantly?

they are regular Balkan Slavs who speak a Romance language by accident.
I mean, an Indian doesn't stop being an Indian even if English is his native language.

What kind of slavs are we if cyrilic was always used to write phonetically/narratively similar to all Latin/Romance tongues, minus the corruption foreign words used for pragmatic uses due to geopolitical instability/incursions (ex. „sheep herder”...)?

Whether we're Roman/Dacoroman/Tracoroman extraction or and Illyrian/Dacoillyrian/Traco-illyrian/Romano-illyrian extraction, that doesn't make you less of a bozgor that you woke up in the morning; as was your uninvited barbarian non-European ancestors that tickled horses' ballsack for good luck in their pastime.

>you eat the same way,

Excuse me – I didn't thought how one eats determines what one is, or how unavailability persists due to [geo-]logistical difficulties, and limited preparatory mixtures, is determinant we're „slavic”.
If you ever see me going to the subartic, I won't be wearing a T-shirt & shorts drinking cold beverages, believe me.

>behave the same way, share the same traditions, share the same traditions or outfits

If we're surrounded by migratory feral specimens that look like humans that tickle horses' ballsacks & drink from human skull cups, that we can't eliminate due to sheer numbers alone (logistics/tactics) and wave invasions periods, it stands to reason that one must adapt or die. Guess what we did?

Again, what's available? Can we dress like the rest of our brethren? „No.” Why? „Because we're stuck in this place.” So what do we do? „Dress with what's available/the trend, customize for distinction.”

Lo n' behold, here we are: „eat the same way, behave the same way, share the same traditions or outfits or even agricultural practices”...
