Palestine was the name of the whole area, encompassing what is now Jordan. Israel, Gaza and the West Bank. People who lived there under the ottoman occupation self identified as Arabs, Jews, Christians etc. The majority Arabs would regularly pogrom the minority Jewish population.

When Great Britain got the mandate we intended to free it if the Arabs promised to stop killing Jews. They said no, so we decided to split it between the Arabs and the Jews. The Arabs got the greater part, with by far the largest part going to create the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. When Israel was created the Arabs got upset and invaded.

The whole idea of a Palestinian identity is a KGB creation. The Soviets first supported Israel, thinking they could be a socialist ally in the Middle East, but quickly pivoted to supporting the Arabs when Israel didn’t go socialist.

Anyway, if you’re asking do I support a return to the British Mandate of Palestine, then no. Leave things as they are
