In Italy I was taught Oxford English or BBC English idk. At work it doesn't matter what accent I use but for sure no one would understand any EFL accent. I have to speak broken English.

I learned how to speak English while gaming in the late 90's and early 2000's on open mic and Ventrilo.
Which meant mostly other Euros so my accent in English is mega /int/.

I had a thick Sydney oi oi accent because I grew up there. When I returned to Malaysia, I was mocked for it and had to learn our own English accent. I could turn the Strayan accent on again from time to time.
