During WW2, my great-grandfather was a US paratrooper and participated in operation market garden where he was captured by a Fallschirmjäger. Supposedly, the German who took him prisoner was a homosexual and took him into a barn at gunpoint and molested him before sending him a POW camp.
After the war ended and my great-grandfather was freed, word got out about what happened to him and everyone called him a faggot. Great-grandma found out and was so disgusted she aborted his second child and divorced him for sodomy. My great-grandfather later killed himself.
