Do people today not wonder if maybe historians, especially these ancient "historians", are literally making shit up? For example, how convenient is it that emperor Caligula who was hated by the Roman aristocracy just happened to be a huge freak who raped his three sisters then executed them, raped a bunch of married women and did a bunch of other insane shit? I can understand executing and jailing senators but don't you think a lot of these other things are exaggerrated or straight up not true?
