We're practically the same today as 2010 Poland? Sounds like bullshit, the education quality is abysmal, it should be PISA results instead of years of education

this hits hard when I think how Brazil's gdp per capita was basically cut in half from 2010 to 2020 and even though we've finally surpassed the peak last year we are far behind everybody else who improved and may never catch up

Proportionally in relation to other countries, France fell really hard and the UK rised a lot.

I guess the british doctos and engineers were just better than the french ones.

HDI is a meme because according to this shit we are Poland from 2010. Is Europe getting worse? Because Uruguay is a shithole.

Anonymous Poland No.211985192 [Report] >>211985265
it's not the same methodology, you can't compare HDI scores through time, they keep changing the weights in the formula & various other tweaks

Its like how they removed housing, food, and energy from CPI data lmao. They just removed all the important categories and kept a small handbasket of irrelevant consumer goods to makw you think the economy is doing fine and dandy

You can't pretend favelas don't exist and think Uruguay is close to Poland. I am Uruguayan and Poland doesn't have favelas.

Favelas are fourth world problems. It's an aberration and HDI should include this. Even Montevideo has favelas, Varsovia has none.

Favelas like these are very rare
I don't know in Uruguay but in Brazil they are almost at the same level of development as the rest of Brazil in matters of prosperity and access to services. It's just ugly houses (and gangs)
