While I'm not too sure since I completely lack knowledge of history I think they were completely exempt from conscription and also given various priviliges in trade as well due to their status, they had more to lose from converting than to gain

Ottomans, like all other Muslims, gave those privileges to families, not "nations". Abbassids did the same thing. they gave certain assyrian families like the Bukhtishu protection because they were great physicians.
smaller nations were conscripted and lived without privileges. those excuses come across very selfish and greedy. and they ended up losing more by staying christcucks anyway

It’s unfixable unfortunately, maybe in the future by 2200s when race and nationality doesn’t anymore and everyone is a genetic Nordic from genetic editing speaking one language it’s not going to matter anymore.
