>>212019089individualism is good in moderation, when it's too much it turns into selfishness
look up how many similarities with cancer selfish people have (methaphorically)
...had the potential to be productive, functioning members of society, just as the first cancer cell used to be a normal cell.
...may turn "bad" because of abuse or crime, just as cancer cells may be created when exposed to harmful chemicals or harmful radiation.
...forget the true role they were supposed to be fulfilling. Just as a cancerous lung cell forgets it was supposed to be helping the body, so the "fallen" politician (as an example) forgets he was supposed to be helping the people of his country - genuinely helping, long-term and not just short-term - instead of consolidating his power and feeding just his political buddies.
...seek selfish goals (money, power, recognition), just as cancer cells seek to merely eat well and multiply.
...corrupt and multiply by dragging their children and others nearby into the celebration of self-centeredness and arrogance and oppression, just as cancer cells multiply and form tumors.
...negatively inspire other people far away to do similar actions (e.g. copycat criminals) or escape justice and repeat the actions far away (e.g. the serial corporate CEO who ruins company after company), just as cancer cells can escape from the initial cancer and metastasize elsewhere.
...enjoy power and energy, just as cancer cells love and feed on glucose, the basic chemical energy unit of the body.
