Nah. Wild fish always get loaded with tons of parasites and there are tons of predators to deal with. If you're captive born you'll probably end up with some sped kid that puts you in with a goldfish and a betta in a Snoopy shaped tank, or else you'll end up in someone's EPIC ecosystem experiment (glorified live feeding channel). Best case scenario you get put in an autistic le blackwater le biotope tank but even if it's 3,000 gallons it's still cramped and tiny compared to any river ecosystem and you're inevitably going to die from the mysterious old tank syndrome (retards not realizing their tanks are basically closed systems compared to natural environments and in nature even sediments get moved and replaced by currents and such). Life is hell for fish.
