It's the Turkish server. Not everyone that plays on it is actually Turkish. Many middle eastern players play on it because it has pretty low ping and more players than the MENA server

I felt like I had no input on how games came out.
Unless you have a pre-made with coordination where someone is calling plays the game is just 10 people doing their own thing, and how the game turns out depends on the pseudo-random interaction of their individual plans.
I don't have friends to play with, and having realized how solo-q works on the meta level I could not keep playing.
It's silly that it took me as many years to tire of the game in retrospective, which goes to show that it's a good game in many ways, despite it's deep and unfixable flaw.

Yes, when you're playing against people who are hopelessly inferior to you in skill you're going to be able to carry.
I don't play on new accounts, I don't play with people who are worse than me.
In a game where people are as skilled as you are they're as likely to 'carry' a game as you are.
If you're slightly better you will over the long term move to a higher bracket.
But that doesn't matter to the individual game, being slightly better than you are can shift the game from a 50% offs to win to 55% odds to win.

Oh yea I expect DOTA levels of stuff to learn, but when I tried DOTA my issue was getting smurfed and the overwhelming amount ot champions to choose from, I don't mind learning strats and such, my issue is that I can't jump in once the game starts getting more and more complex minute interactions like champ matchups and the likes, I never felt lost in league since I did all the learning in S4 when the game was practically new, same in Heros of the Storm, Dota just overwhelmed me even tho I lernt Jugg and shadow fiend (and tried, many, many more)

For me playing the warwick rework was like crack, chasing people down, winning fights on low HP insane dopamine. alas, im glad i quit, im trying to find new dopamenergic activities but so far im just doomscrolling x and 4cuck so playing league might have been a better waste of my time. as least now i walk outside for 2 hours everyday. the worst thing about league was that you play for hours on end sitting inside all day. Vitamin D levels went to shit. litterally ive cured my balding by walking in the sun for 2 hours daily. fuck league for making me prematurely balding.

DOTA is very hard to learn as a new player, thats the biggest issue. Its easier if you have other moba experience, have a few friends that switched from lel, but in general, you need at least like 500 hours to get a BASIC grasp of the game if you start from scratch... The new player experience in DOTA is horrible, biggest reason why lel is more popular worldwide, people just want the easier thing
If i havent played DOTA for literally 20 years at this point, I just dont see how I could just randomly get into it today. And the game gets even more bloated and bloated with every new patch, adding more new interactions, mechanics, heroes expanding the map, etc.
But its very rewarding if you do put the time in it, the highs of the game are like in non other

But you dont need to get overwhelmed from all the heroes tb h, having a small pool of like 5-10 heroes initially, maybe 2 for each position is a good starting point, until you've played enough games to start learning what every other hero does by simply playing against them
