But the military has a lawful right to conscript any male it wants at any point in theory, that is what makes it mandatory conscription.

Military in Norway is based if you are a location with female soldiers, it's basically a free for all when it comes to sex. I know but realistically it's just a decoration as it stands today. And it will be for a long time because there simply isn't enough military personell to manage a scale larger than we have today.
