Chinese manufacturers flocked to this place for cheap, almost slavery, labors + zero enviromental laws + corrupted officials. basically how the west had been treating china hitherto. almost all the wealth generated during that period went to politicians and their greencards, leaving the average vietnamese as poor, stupid and backward as their grandpas were. many whispered to each other how Americans used to treat them like actual human being and how the current power barely treats them better than cattles.
