I'm actually from the serras of the northeast. I know it's unexpected but it doesn't get too hot in the eastern part of my region and the higher elevation sets the upper limit of temperature even lower.

True but it's the place where I've lived my whole life, so that's my honest experience.

I almost never travel outside the mountains-coast region of the little states and have never left that general area during summer, so I honestly never experienced true Brazilian heat. I get pretty uncomfortable already when I go down the coast and it's on the 30s there, because it's very humid while up here it's kind of dry.
