That's a good question and to be honest I'm not sure. That obviously plays a role in the attack, but seeing as the negotiations for a new nuclear deal only started in April and we're already attacking them tells me that they never had plans on renewing the deal. It took Obama 2 years to make a deal with Iran and now this time we're only three months in the negotiations and Trump is already starting a war with them . Apparently Israel and the US have been planning this attacking since the Biden administration.
