Glad you asked, this flag reminds me of unitedstatians.

As an American we see it everywhere, all the time, it feels cliche and generic. It just means "the place I'm at". I don't feel proud but I don't feel angry either. Its just the normal feeling I always feel. I am lucky to live here I suppose vs smoewhere like Iraq

Heavy commercialization, propaganda, and nationalism taken to an extreme level, much to the detriment of the individual. Discovering that other countries are more relaxed with the use of their flag was a big "Whoa!" moment for me when I was 10.

I go to a gym here in Buenos Aires that has flags from different countries, and people from those countries will sign their name on their flag. Every flag has signatures on it except the American one. I feel weirdly proud that my fellow burgers exercise such respect for the flag.
