I constantly see people online have some weird sense of pride of being treated like an abused dog during their childhood. "Oh, your parents just slapped you around? WELL MINE HIT ME WITH STICKS HAHAHA!!!", its so weird from my viewpoint. Why would you proudly announce this shit to the entire world? It seems pathetic, even abused dogs maul their owners.

My father slammed me with 20 cm thick logs every time I would do something bad, if i said something rude I would get barbed wire all over my ass. If I didn't respond to him or failed to achieve a task in a given time, I would be kneeling on corn completely naked for hours. I turned out fine.
