You are right but here ramen stalls aren't that common and instant ramen is significantly more price effective.

I have and it's fine. It's slightly better than instant, but not worth the money. I can add a few things to the instant, for a fraction of the price, and it's only slightly worse.
Japanese hype their food way too much.

I like Ippudo too.
But I prefer Tonkotsu soy sauce flavored ramen over Tonkotsu.
The best ramen I ever had was Miso ramen in Hokkaido.
I also like Jiro ramen, although it's a lot of ramen.

Jiro ramen is good, had it twice in two weeks when I visited Japan and broke out in acne the day after both times

Unironically I like the ramen in the USA more than the ones I've had in Japan. Granted, I'm a tourist in Japan, so I don't know which places are good, but I found ramen in Japan too heavy on the salt and somewhat skimpy on the toppings.

I had a halal ramen in Osaka. Authentic ramen uses pork broth, so technically the one I ate wasn't 100% authentic, but it was very delicious.

Tsujita just opened up a spot in my city last year, I loved tsukemen more than ramen after trying it for the first time in Japan

this is my favorite ramen in my city. it used to just be called fushipoke, a hawaiian restaurant, but on wednesdays and thursdays from 5pm to 8pm they sold ramen. now, as you can see, the name of the restaurant has changed to "fushipoke and ramen"
