I hate jurassic park. Americans think velociraptor didn't have feathers. They ruined dinosaurs by changing them from real animals to freak monsters. They already knew velociraptor was the size of a chicken in the 90s. They just thought the name was cooler than deinonychus. Americans hate dinosaurs and science.

I mean all dinosaurs from Jurassic Park aren't even from the Jurassic period, they're from the cretaceous. Im pretty sure they even mention that in the book. How Cretaceous Park just didn't sound as cool as Jurassic Park. And I think they also hint at the fact that John Hammond just wants to build a cool park and make tons of money instead of having some dedication to scientific accuracy.

This makes me want to read the novels. It's unfortunate that Americans didn't understand the authors intent. The modern jurassic park franchise has treated dinosaurs as monters instead of real animals and it has affected the global perception of dinosaurs.
We always hear Americans complain when new data comes out that paints dinosaurs as real animals rather than movie monsters.

The book is not exactly high brow but it's a fun read, you can see why it was made into a movie. But the Hammond character is more evil which makes more sense.
