We don’t do mass shootings here, but we also may not let you in. Are you valuable and/or useful? Willing and able to learn one of our national languages and follow a lot of arbitrary rules? Okay with spending a minimum of $30 on a really disappointing lunch?

Lots of Yankees at my wife’s company, but they’ve all got advanced degrees and specialized skills.
