When I fantasize about being a soldier, it's always about doing, experiencing and seeing horrible things in a pointless war on some shithole in the other side of the world for reasons that remain nebulous for decades and no tangible benefit to my country. I think that is the most sovlful and kino version of this daydream. Yeah, I want to drink myself to death to avoid the flashbacks of my comrades getting blown to pieces and all the war crimes we perpetrated on civilians.
