People do not take lookism seriously enough
People say 'it's not your looks, it's your shit personality' without realising the direct relationship between looks and personality
Then you've got the Halo effect which influences the way people evaluate attractive people's personalities
Meanwhile we have a society that wishes to claim that actually attractive people deserve their looks because of all the effort that they've put in to maintaining them but 1. it ignores the foundations that both people are working on and 2. it ignores the same effect that looks has on the development of personality
