Why do Rusisans even use -yo Ё and -yu Ю? It's like the same sound, very confusing.

You can check it in google translate
Just type "pike" in English and translate to Russian and Ukrainian. In both languages it will be "щyкa" but pronounce differently. We have different sound for "щ", in Ukrainian it sounds as "шч"
