Used to drink A LOT and everyday
Mostly beers though. Here we have 1 liter bottles and I would say I used to drink an average of 3 or 4 liters alone every night from my 18s until I was 23 then got sober for 2 years and went back to it now I'm drinking once or twice a week but in an insane amount.
Picrel I was supposed to go out for a drink with a fren and just chill but ended up drinking 10 cans of heineken on a convenience store, then we went out on barfly on 3 different places and drank couple more probably 5 liter bottles and went out on a strip club then I just drank 2 beer cans and puked all over the bathroom.
It was pretty fun though but I feel extremely ashmed of drinking so much in the next morning.
I'm trying to stop again but it's just so good to drink

unfortunately I'm an alcoholic and I've chugged half a liter of vodka and went to work the next day countless times
I do try to offset it by doing HIIT semi-daily, such a nasty habit though

My routine was 2 or 3 cans of strong beer (at least 10%) then 20cl of vodka or rhum
I'm trying to stop, though
btw can you enter a psych ward if you're just an alcoholic?

A few glasses of wine every couple months at most.
Used to be a heavy drinker (bottle of whisky 2-3 times per week) but as I passed 30 I just can't do it anymore.
What used to be a 2 hour hangover in the morning, is now a 24 hour miserable hell. Like having the flue, stomach bug and migraine at the same time.
So I avoid getting drunk.

Almost none. During Christmas I made some butter cinnamon drink with apple whiskey for the taste but any more than a splash of booze gives me a headache. I quit hard drugs years ago and just take kratom these days

Drinking got boring since I have no friends.
Every single time just ended up with me alone on the couch and shitposting while listening to music until I fell asleep.

So I quit and put my money towards PC stuff and returned to gaming instead.

Yeah there is like a thing called minimum unit pricing that means that itโ€™s got minimum price attached to alcohol content, plus of course the crazy 23% tax. So there is no โ€œcheapโ€ alcohol basically

The withdrawals became unbearable and caused me to vividly hallucinate. I totally understand why people believe in ghosts or that they were abducted by aliens because it looked 100% real even though I knew it wasn't. I cut way back after that.
