nobody has severely hurt though

>accident on train, new model introduced in early 2020s
>made with flame-retardant materials from the start
>only minor scorching inside train, no operational issues
>train gets sent back to depot for quick repair
>thanks to lessons learned from 2003 Daegu subway disaster, no casualties
>all trains switched to non flammable materials after the disaster
>calm response from passengers and driver prevented worse outcomes
>random middle aged dudes become hero, uses fire extinguisher, disappears
>minimum 3 extinguishers, so probably at least 3 heroes
>passengers shout about fire, follow the manual
>open doors instead of jumping right away, wait for further instructions
>one passenger shares news to run to the next station
>everyone escapes together, help for those who canโ€™t move well
>no deaths, thanks citizens
>also, subway fire drills paid off
>Seoul Transportation Corporation does drills every quarter, emergency training yearly

yeah
