I'd say most major US cities have improved significantly due to gentrification over the last 20 years. Some outliers like San Francisco and Detroit that have become starkly stratified or stagnated respectively.
Is this counting all humans, including retirees, babies etc? Because from the wiki:

They look pretty good. Outside the ghetto cities or areas even the most mediocre cities seem to have nice roads, clean modern building from what I've seen. You can definitely tell it is a rich country even if it does not look that good
