the german regions transition into the neighboring countries. East Germany is similar to Poland and Czechia because of socialism, schleswig-holstein is basically denmark, nrw and niedersachsen are dutch, rhineland-palatinate and bawu are french and swiss, bavaria is obviously similar to austria

Every country in Europe has this thing where they think their country is somehow super-diverse and everything they have is more similar to foreign neighboring countries than to each other.
I have seen Poles, Hungarians, Croats dissecting their own countries like this
