since their shit lira got completely dumpstered, it became very popular for people, especially from the south here to travel to their bigger cities near the border and buy stuff, particularly Edirne. You can fill your whole fucking truck with food/clothes/stuff for the home/etc for basically no money and they really want levs and euros. For that reason, its filled with the typical scammers trying to do gypsy tricks non-stop
Ive heard its the same in Istanbul.
But in their nice resorts like Antalya, Marmaris, Bodrum the service everywhere is fucking top tier and it absolutely moggs other resort places ive been to around EU, like our coast, Greece, Croatia, Italy and Spain. They are very good at making the client feel at home.
