japenis hate open source software and dont understand the point of it and get angry at it

The reason is because there is no multinational megacorporation behind to rally around it. Japenis genetics dont allow such thinking that projects can be run without leader-sama.

This is why Japenis people never use open source software. The only open source they use is the software Nintendo and Sony uses (without giving anything back ever, shameful display).

You need to know TRON, stupid.

TRON is the most widely used embedded OS for machines in the world.

Open source is not the only way to put out non-closed source software. Often times its not ideal or too vague so you open yourself to doing free work or chained to maintaining and updating things that corporate/private entities use but don't contribute in any monetary or development capacity.

what do you mean

there is nothing vague about open source. The licenses are very clear, permissive, copyleft etc.

it seems you are right
>Once again, the developer with the most changesets was Kent Overstreet, who continues to work on stabilizing the bcachefs filesystem. Kuninori Morimoto contributed a large set of cleanups to the sound subsystem. Ville Syrjรคlรค worked exclusively on the Intel i915 graphics driver. Andy Shevchenko contributed small improvements throughout the driver subsystem, and Alex Deucher worked, as always, on the AMD graphics driver subsystem.

Freeware isn't exactly equal to being totally open source.

>there is nothing vague about open source. The licenses are very clear, permissive, copyleft etc.
You actually have to research and make sure you pick the right one. For any sizable organization or group that may mean hiring legal help to help chisel it out right.

yeah well freeware just means you get something for free, entirely different thing. Even if something is source-avaible, its not open source unless you have rights to the software
I can be the lawyer without a degree. The licenses are very short and very easy to understand

I'm not sure, but their apparent inability regarding software at large is actually an observable phenomenon, and I'm not even joking. Even Bill Gates commented on it and pointed to it possibly being one of many reasons why Japan and the Japanese economy in general as one of many factors as to why it struggles in the 21st century. It's honestly really odd
