Wait what? There actually are people applying on jobs on indeed itself? I have always used those sites like those flight sites like skyscanner or kayak. You look for the jobs (or flights) and then go to the companies' websites and never apply for them (or book them in case of the flights) through the platform.

Do people really do this? Lmao.

After pretty much a year of neeting and applying, momberg finally gave me a job as a paralegal at her law firm because they needed new people. I asked her before and she said if the opportunity ever came up, but she also was concerned if I’d reflect poorly on her for being a shlubby unloveable chudcel so I felt she was lying. But she went through it and am grateful. I will only work this job for two months though because I am going to law school to also become a lawyerberg like my ancestors before me. Nepotism is really the only way.

No, why would they care if you’re unemployed. I did submit my resume and put down visits to my grandma as “freelance caregiver to woman with dementia” so that I could say I wasn’t unemployed. With a 170 LSAT I’d say you’re pretty good for most places you want. I am a subtard with a 149 LSAT after taking it 3 times but the school I am going to is good enough for practicing locally and I will get instate tuition and scholarships. I don’t know what law you want to get into like if you want to be a big city lawyer or not, but make sure the schools you apply to are a good deal and aren’t just taking you because you are their customer. Try to get instate tuition through neighboring state programs or moving there early.

My mom is in between the two you described. She was given her first job as a lawyer in her dad’s law firm who got his first job at his dad’s law firm. Despite this for a long time she told me to pound the pavement and shake hands and that giving me a job would be sussy baka nepotism. But now she has no problem with it and likes the idea of being able to tell me to do stuff as an employee.
Also I get to see the real skeezy side of lawyering my mom does telling me to go through evidence of our client while telling me she will focus on trying to not have it be admitted into evidence kek.

that's your first mistake. never, ever do that shit. you walk into a business, ask "are you hiring?," if they say "yes" hand them a resume and if they say "no" hand them a resume anyways. but if they refuse the resume and say "we prefer if you apply online! :)", turn 360 and walk away without a word. that shit is a guatanteed sign of a cuck job with a retarded boss that you do NOT want to be working. on the off chance you do get hired on an online application, then congrats, you've started your social relationship with your boss by bending over and spreading your anus for him. you will never be respected, never receive a raise, and never be promoted. apply in person or on the phone, demand their time, initiate from a position of strength

Well I sort of got in at an odd time when things are changing. The first two times I took the LSAT the logic games were still in them. I took like the first or second test offered when they took the logic games out and my score went up a little but not that much.
Honestly I wouldn’t know what to do for law school in California because California has its own laws that allow anyone to take and pass the bar without going to law school so there are a lot of shitty california-only licensed pseudo lawyers there like Kim Kardashian and schools that aren’t ABA certified. California residents qualify for WICHE I think so you could go to some place more legit, probably cheaper, and get in state tuition. Though if you have a 170 I would see what options are for scholarships elsewhere with schools that could guarantee a more prestigious career if that’s what you want.
>>212258518
That comes later. I do think about how chill becoming a prosecutor would be since you have the state behind you and you are just negotiating with Jew lawyers how to lower sentences. Then later once you know all of the state’s tricks you can become the Jew lawyer and defend people for more money.

Very few of these people pass the bar, and the ones that do will be relegated to solo practice forever.
CA has very good law schools and they are competitive as fuck.
