No. You idiot.
Dumont actually took off, flew and landed safely... You know, like an actual practical flight AND registered it properly...
And a nuclear bomb is not the same as a dirty bomb, brainlet

The thing is we have a similar copium, with the helicopter.

An argie named Pascara made the "first functional" helicopter in the 20's, like 12 years later than the first helicopter flight.

So that makes some iqlets seethe

Santos Dumont filmed it in front of a crowd of thousands
Wright Bros did it in the backyard and absolute no film evidence.
Also they used a slingshot to make the airplane take flight

Wright airplane (Flyer I) HAD an engine, so it is over.

It just took an extra boost. Wright brothers have the edge because they demonstrated the principles of sustained flight that we still rely on today.

Flyer I is not capable of autonomous flight. It was never properly documented flying. None of it's replicas were ever able to fly.

If it wasn't for the muttistan propaganda machine and jewlyhood no one would even know who those two coon men were, just like the dozens of other scammers that claimed to have invented the plane without ever being able to prove it.

At the end of the day the chadzilian is king. There's a reason why he is utterly omitted from all discourse related to the flying race even though he was an active participant, well know and well acquainted member of it. Not for lack of contributions but because his mere mention makes all mutts claims instantly melt like ice on the sun. The truth have this effect over lies.

The real answer is neither. The first functioning fixed-wing aircraft that looked anything like like what we might call an "airplane" was Louis Blรฉriot's monoplane, built and first tested in 1909.
