I'm 33 and have never had a conversation with a woman outside of school or work. Does this happen in your country?

I talked to a woman once on the bus, and I even got her number. She told me her stop was a woman's shelter. I never called her because I thought maybe she only gave me this number cause she was afraid of me. And two, I don't know if I could really deal with dating someone with those issues. But that was back when I lived in Toronto and you can actually meat people during your day to day living but I moved back into my home city and it's like 90 percent of north America a car dependent shit hole. So outside of that, I never really talked to a woman outside of work or school.
