My mom has an old granny friend that lives in one of those. Not horrible if you find a good trailer park and do some renovations. Definitely better than some apartment rat hole

Florida boomers unironically have it very good. These trailers get so big now and they're comfy with luxury trims. You get to park it up in a tropical state with 1st world infrastructure and just coast.

80,000 GBP = roughly 150,000 CAD and that is the cheapest you'll find in my part of Canada. But at that price you won't own the land and you will have to pay park fees/rent, probably $800 a month. And that doesn't cover anything, just the right to live on that land. I was considering buying one until I realized how high the monthly fees are and decided I am better off staying in my apartment for as long as I can. I have a rent-controlled apartment at $950 a month which is all inclusive.

A lot of these places are 55+, which shouldn't be allowed imo. This is the last affordable option for younger people, but the boomers are hording them because they want weekend homes or they want to downsize. Fuck that shit.
