Europe has NO parrots.

None, not a single native species.

When they look out the window all they see is pigeons and seagulls.

Tragic.

But we do have owls, they are pretty common in the countryside.
What we don't have are crows of the genus 'Corvus'. We have several corvids like pic, but not that classic BBC (Big Black Crow). Australians have magpies which are just as annoying.

Our magpies aren't actually corvids, though we do have ravens.

>Magpies of the genus Pica are generally found in temperate regions of Europe, Asia, and western North America, with populations also present in Tibet and high-elevation areas of Kashmir. Magpies of the genus Cyanopica are found in East Asia and the Iberian Peninsula. The birds called magpies in Australia are, however, not related to the magpies in the rest of the world.[5]
Interesting. Learn something new everyday, I guess.
