Well, to be an officer they had to attend a military accident, which they could buy their way into but they still had to put in the work. If they failed, then they were shamed and considered a pussy-boy too weak to be a real man.

I saw a couple of episodes with my dad, but it was so hard to find a nice torrent or site let alone proper subtitles for my dad that I just gave up. It's really good as an adventure series and it has some great actors
