Is there any hope for this country? Can they at least reach Russia or China tier human development by 2100?

China/Russia may be authoritarian dystopias, but let's be honest here. Anyone would hundred percent choose to live there instead of India.

The pollution and horrible behavior of the public makes India seem like hell on earth, even if it's a "democracy".

From the moment you set foot on that country, you are harassed by locals. Taxi drivers gather around you and literally stalk you. Cities are full of trash and stray animals. You can see people urinating in public into open drains. 90 percent of people look like they haven't bathed in a months. The air is very polluted and dusty.

Why don't Indians ever wake up and think what the fuck is wrong with this country?

the problem is literally just low IQ, not hinduism or caste or anything else

and it can only be solved by increasing IQ through:
1) solving the nutritional deficiencies, air pollution and other environmental hygiene issues
2) mild eugenics
3) genetic engineering

most of these fixes will happen in the next 30 years, so India will become a cleaner and better country over time.

Because Indians haven't reached that moment of realisation the west did in in the 60s of "wow, our environment is fucked, we need to fix this and make sure it doesn't get this bad again"

As for the culture, that's comes with being so completely overcrowded. India needs its own 1 child policy to reduce its own population (which it won't do) and start seriously criminalising things like rape and scamming people (which it also won't cos rape is basically their national hobby)

the lower class africa tier india cannot be killed

that decision was made 2000 years ago for us by the well meaning, misguided brahmins.

during the time that the first public hospital in the world was being built in india, ancient rome was well versed in eugenics, they had a policy of killing weak infants modeled after the behavior of wolves

europeans have been slowly, methodically killing their criminals and lower classes for 1000s of years while india has been enabling and supporting them. the unfortunate truth is that we cannot dig ourselves out from that.

but the the broad policy goals outlined in this post: >>212349597 can start to help.

However, they need industrial growth. Their growth thus far has mainly been from a small minority of ultra high and medium high paying service jobs. It's a very slim section of the population. The majority of the people work either in agriculture, relatively unproductive small businesses or in short term jobs off the books.

Agriculture now actually employs a greater share of workers that it did five years ago while the manufacturing valued added share of GDP is decreasing.

But even though their manufacturing output is quite low (3% of global industrial output), they still have some of the most polluted cities in the world. So if India were to actually industrialize, it would drastically intensify pollution, making health problems much worse than it already is. Not to mention pollution lowers IQ. Geographically, the Himalaya Mountains also traps smog and pollution in northern India where over half of the population lives.

Here's an important chart between India and Vietnam. As a corollary, Vietnam's GDP per capita is now signifanctly higher than India's and surpassed India in 2006. Let's not forget, Vietnam also had more bombs dropped on it than during all of WW2 and. the Vietnam War is still fresh in the memory of many baby boomers there, so their rise is pretty amazing. The cities are cleaner as well.

But notice what China, Vietnam, and Russia have in common? They're ML countries. It shows the superiority of ML over Fabian socialism especially when it comes to industrialization.

Even before China partly liberalized its economy (but they still kept the ML structure), China produced 3x more steel than India by the 1970s. The produced 2.5x cement production (49 million metric tons vs 19.4 million metric tons) 3.2x more coal production, had longer life expectancy than India (66 vs 52 in 1978), had way more women in the workface, and a lower infant moretality rate (40 per 100 vs 120 per 1000 for India). All of this allowed for Deng to attract FDI and keep it there.

Meanwhile, India went for Fabian socialism which had a liberal parliamentary political superstructure. So the Nehruvian elite still maintained the British-style state supremacy with no real rupture in class power. It's a continuation of bourgeois democracy as when wealth builds up, the bourgeois take over through the electoral process which then becomes beholden to both domestic and global capital. They did not have same kind type of land reform, or shake away the feudalistic mentalties of caste and the most extreme aspects of their religions that China or Russia did for instance. It lacks the strong planning instiutions of China or Vietnam. India's contemporary economy is becoming even further financialized with quick bubble valuations for start ups as that's easy to profit for the rich while the inequality is worsening.

Yeah right. They hate mainland Indians as much as they hate "Bangladeshis" (if what you mean by that is Assam Bengalis and Kukis)

People aren't deflecting poverty discussions. It's the exact opposite. You see ISRO capture high-quality pics of the moon and people are fucking livid and bring up India being poor.
>Bihar by most metrics is better than it was a decade ago
Would you rather it be stagnant or worse? Like I said better doesn't mean it's good, but that it has the ability to improve

Apparently it's very nice compared to the rest of the country, and the people there are of a higher quality.

This is why ML>Fabian Socialism. Fabian socialism was meant to be a bandaid for rich countries and it eventually succumbs to neoliberalism like it did in Britain. But for a poor country to pursue fabian socialism with an already weak economic base, well that's putting the cart before the horse. You end up with an entrenched bureaucratic state, excessive red tape, and once market reforms are introduced, a plutocracy where famalies like Adani have immense power over the state. Meanwhile, the political system remains sluggish and prone to legislative gridlock that lags behind the pace of ecomomic change.
