i hate social settings because the instant i walk into a room i instantly read what each indivudual there will talk about and its rarely something i care about.
this also goes against me because when they eventually talk to me i reply on their level just to make it easy but they dont go away and they dont get that i dont care. i just want to be left alone, only talking about stuff that interest me.

Used to be very shy but I had panic disorder and went on 10mg Lexapro to fuck my brains even more up. Now I don't give a shit anymore. Could give a speech in front of 500 people without breaking a sweat

Do you have a lot of strangers just come up to you to talk? I can't tell if it happens to me more than average, but my problem is that I don't want to be rude and just blow them off, so I get trapped in these conversations with them, and this happens too much. Like I'll usually just see what they're all about for a bit, but then they accidentally end up thinking I'm fun and it just makes it more awkward to leave
