Mine is 26 years old and it works fine, it's the oldest one. The GE one i have on the kitchen it has broken down once some 8 years a go or so. I have a Mitsu one on the living room tho, it's the youngest, i bought 3 years a go.

It's top tier my man. It doesn't consume that much power. This ac was the premium of premiums back in 1999. My parents spend a lot on these two babies. It's AAA power consumption.
Even in July and August, the electric bill only goes for what...120€ or so. It's not a lot
