You don't get paid per stream. You get paid based on your percentage of total streams. Spotify always pay out 70% of the revenue to the rights-holders. Having a more popular product, i.e. more streams, is not bad for the artists.

You can rip the audio directly with jdownloader, you would bypass downloading the video. It'll be in the opus format. Either way the bitrate is still 128 no matter which method.
