>>212379011I've had all of those things. They're alright, but that's more to do with how old the food is. Fruit picked fresh and thrown in fridge for 5 hours isn't really noticeably different (other than being cold.) Same deal with meat. Catch fish, kill it, throw it in an ice bucket and carry it back home, a couple hours of hiking. It's not any worse than cleaning it and cooking it right then and there. Having done both I prefer the former because cooking in nature fucking sucks, and I'm not eating raw freshwater fish.
