Mostly difficult to converse with due to a massive amount of the population having literally no media literacy whatsoever and black and white thinking so it's often one extreme or the other and then pushing their views on other people while being tourists in their country.
It isn't everyone of course, but the fact that you even ask why is kind of telling. You have a literal retard for a president who threatens to invade canada and calling their closest ally a parasite and an enemy, and greenland (EU) for fucks sake. What do you mean what is US doing wrong? Your government is constantly making threats. Nobody can trust the country anymore because you look at your leaders wrong and they write conspiracy theories and push to break all agreements that they made in the first place. It's just exhausting.
That said I have some online friends from the US and it's not like everyone is retarded over there, but the majority really has no clue about the world and it's just tiresome when they then start harassing you for no reason and act like America is a victim and not a major bully who then plays victim after punching first.
People still had some hope for your country ten years ago, but it's gonna get so much worse as your economy crashes and people are looking for simple solutions while ignoring the actual problems. Most likely you'll just enter another war to distract from it all sadly.
