I have a friend with whomst I used to get high in high school, I then stopped smoking soon after graduating because it became unfun for me. he never stopped and now he has a kid, and he still smokes every day. and not just the shitty weed we used to cop back then, he has jars of exotic varieties sourced from who knows where, high potency stuff that would put me in a come. and I can’t help but think he’s an idiot for getting high so much while having to care for a small child. if he was drinking instead of smoking surely this would be evident to everybody. but I spoke about this to another friend and he told me it’s not the same thing.
