Unironically, investing in dollars may be worth it soon for the recovery. You'd get an easy 10% increase once it balances out with the euro again, and FOREX leverage goes all the way up to 100x. The issue is that you never know the timeline of the recovery.

The issue is that investors and financiers dislike how Trump goes about things, being quite erratic, and so they prefer assets with more stable heads behind them. It is more of a messaging issue than an actual issue with the US economy, or dollar.
