Do people often travel by planes in your country? Do you?

Since Russia is big planes are the only reasonable means of transportation between spread out parts of the country, so I think plane travel is very common here. For example between my city and my granny's tiny town there is around 7-8 thousands kilometers of distance and every summer my parents would send me there when I was younger.

Countries I expect to have a lot of air travel:
USA
Brazil
China
India

Don't let me down

it's cheaper to travel by plane between state capitals which are about 1000kms away from each other than to drive unless you have a car full of people.

One time me with parents travelled from Yakutsk to Baikal lake by car and later calculated that for one person it would've been cheaper to go by plane and for two persons the costs would've been around the same
