not true, but you don't care anyway.
same happened with the Eurofighter and Boxer before, France left when its design wasn't chosen.
now France is demanding 80% workshare for FCAS with a 50/50 cost split. the project can't die soon enough.

Framce dropped out of the Eurofighter program because the vision the UK and Germany were pushing did not include essential capabilities such as takeoff and landing from aiecraft carriers or nuclear warhead delivery. The Eurofighter was designed as a pure air superiority aircraft as opposed to the Rafale, a multi-purpose jet.

the Eurofighter is multirole too, and certifying it for nuke delivery would be no issue. The truth you don't want to admit is that France dropped out of it because it didn't get enough workshare, like always. Your country wants others to fund French projects, it doesn't want actual joint projects. This is due to muh strategic autonomy. But the fault is with Merkel for having agreed on this retarded project in the first place, this was known in 2017 already and we could've saved ourselves 8 years of wasting time.

>the Eurofighter is multirole too
It is after years of reworking and budget overruns, but it was not the original vision of the project. It was initially designed as an air superiority fighter, with CAS and other roles performed by older generations of fighters.
>The truth you don't want to admit is that France dropped out of it because it didn't get enough workshare
I don't have to admit anything because it's just not true. I already gave you an example of what you described actually happening.
The main reason why Getmany and France went their own way with their first generation of MBT was because France wanted to protect its DIB, notably AMX and Hispano-Suiza.
>This is due to muh strategic autonomy.

Rafale is better than the Eurofighter though, true multirole from the start and more future proof. EF is a cold war relic and a dead end. I'd trust the frogs over Germany when it comes to miltech, they have way more expertise.

>In May, Boeing secured 303 gross orders for new airplanes, marking the highest monthly total since December 2023. This included 146 orders for the 737 MAX, 30 for the 777X, and 127 for the 787. Boeing's backlog of unfilled orders reached 5,943 at the end of May. The company also delivered 45 aircraft in May, the fifth consecutive month with 40 or more deliveries
Pretty decent all things considered.
>As of May 31, 2025, Airbus has a backlog of 8,617 commercial aircraft, according to Airbus and Boeing order reports. This figure excludes the A320ceo family and A330-200. A significant portion, 7,660 or 88.9%, of this backlog consists of A220 and A320neo family narrowbody aircraft.
I had to use Airbus numbers because France doesn't have a domestic commercial aircraft industry anymore.

>Blokhin initially decided on an ambitious quota of 300 executions per night, and engineered an efficient system in which the prisoners were individually led to a small antechamber — which had been painted red and was known as the "Leninist room" — for a brief and cursory positive identification, before being handcuffed and led into the execution room next door. The room was specially designed with padded walls for soundproofing, a sloping concrete floor with a drain and hose, and a log wall for the prisoners to stand against. Blokhin would stand waiting behind the door in his executioner garb: a leather butcher's apron, leather hat, and shoulder-length leather gloves. Then, without a hearing, the reading of a sentence or any other formalities, each prisoner was brought in and restrained by guards while Blokhin shot him once in the base of the skull with a German Walther Model 2 .25 ACP pistol.[12][13][14] He had brought a briefcase full of his own Walther pistols, since he did not trust the reliability of the standard-issue Soviet TT-30 for the frequent, heavy use he intended. The use of a German pocket pistol, which was commonly carried by German police and intelligence agents, also provided plausible deniability of the executions if the bodies were discovered later.

Franco-German friendship is a pure fantasy only dreamt up by deranged washed up french politicians. The Germans do not give a shit about us, I wouldn't be surprised if the average German feels closer to a Pole or a Czech than to a French person. Many times this country fucked us over for no good reason.
